Born in 1948, the year of Israel’s independence, Doron grew up in Tel Aviv. His father, a renowned Israeli artist, regularly took the family on holidays to Safed, an enclave known as “the artist colony.” He also instilled in his children a strong sense of values and a fierce love of country. While serving in the army (in the Six Day War and as a reserve officer during the Yom Kippur war), Doron met Gonny Allon. They married in 1974. Doron shares his father’s passion for art and has built a successful art gallery in Tel Aviv. Now he devotes much of his time to promoting the “Jesus Boat.”

Born in Tiberias, Gonny was raised on Kibbutz Ginosar, along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Her father, Yigdal Allon, a general in the Israeli armed forces, wanted a modest life for his family. Yet, because of her father's prominent position, as Gonny grew up she was introduced to many notable figures and world leaders. Later she served in the Israeli army as an intelligence officer. Today, Gonny is active encouraging tourism for Kibbutz Ginosar, the Jesus Boat and the museum named after her father.

One of three sons born to Doron and Gonny, Alon was named after his grandfather, Yigal Allon, who with David Ben-Gurion and others was one of the co-founders of the State of Israel. Alon envisions bringing the “Jesus Boat” story to the world through books, films, television specials and a traveling exhibit. Alon hopes people everywhere will come to know the relevance of the Jesus Boat.

An innovative marketing executive, Don is responsible for a number of successful "family, faith and values" businesses, media initiatives, products and campaigns. Leveraging his 30-year background in brand-building, television and media, Don has assembled a network of top corporate marketing partners to work alongside Jesus Boat, Inc. in global marketing, live events, public relations, media, product development and distribution. Don lives in Connecticut with his wife Valerie, and has three grown children and two grandchildren.

Born in Holland, Marina has been living in Israel for more than 30 years. As public relations manager for the Jesus Boat, Marina welcomes ministries and groups who come to visit the ancient boat and experience its remarkable story. She is married and has three children.
