The Jesus Boat Foundation, a U.S.-based not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation, has been created in order to continue and expand the educational work of the Yigal Allon Museum. Additionally the foundation will help fund the ongoing preservation of the Jesus Boat and the global inspirational outreach of the Jesus Boat experience.
For more than 20 years, the Yigal Allon Museum has been a rich and unique source of information and inspiration for Israel’s students and tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world. Importantly, Israeli armed forces have depended on the Museum for critical studies of Israeli military strategies, analysis of past political and military conflicts and real time insight into current and future threats to Israel’s security.
Using the financial resources of The Jesus Boat Foundation, our executive team has planned a broad range of initiatives designed specifically to enhance the impact and inspirational influence of the Jesus Boat exhibit.
The many improvements to the Jesus Boat experience under development include:
Finishing construction of the Museum’s 900 seat indoor theater production of dramatic multimedia shows recreating key events of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee.Creation of a state-of-the-art global TV broadcast center for “Live from the Galilee” events.
A totally redesigned Jesus Boat exhibit to dramatically introduce the boat to visitors.
Large U.S.-to-Galilee region tour bus excursions keyed toward visiting the Yigal Allon Museum.
